Hi everyone, we’re back again with the Z Real Estate Monthly Market Minute for September of 2020.
I’ve got some interesting numbers to talk about today and only a short amount of time to do it, so let’s get started. 60 seconds on the clock, please.
Ready – set – go!
Those of you on the fence about selling your home, this is the market report for you. The numbers this month really speak for themselves. There was a 25% increase in the average sales price – up from 199 thousand dollars to 250 thousand – and 58 more homes sold compared to September of last year – up from 185 to 243.
So I gave Zane a bit of shade last month because he cheated and paused the clock, but I think this month it’s worth taking some time to talk about why the numbers we just talked about are so important.
Ok, time in.
Once again, the top-selling areas were Las Colinas with 33 homes sold and Sonoma East with 25. The most expensive sale was for 1.35 million off of Snow Road.
Remember, real estate is local, neighborhood by neighborhood and price range by price range. If you’re looking to sell – and, you really should be – let us analyze your home specifically. And if you’re looking to buy, every market has opportunity in it, you just have to know where to find it.
Thanks for checking out our Market Minute. Be sure to follow us on social media as we cover more of the upcoming market info as well as local Las Cruces info. We’ll see you next time!
