So let’s jump right in with active homes on the market. Right now, there are 580 active homes, which is 22 less than last month. Out of those 580 homes, 233 of them are under $200,000.
Of all the homes that are active, they range in price from 38,000 all the way up to 6.9 million. Now remember, the data that I pull includes the entire county and not just Las Cruces.
Also, let’s talk about days on market. So all of the homes that are under contract for sale right now, meaning they already have a buyer going through the process of purchasing the home, those homes have been on the market an average of 65 days and a median of 30 days. That’s a few days less than August’s days on market.
This month saw an increase of 11 homes sold compared to September of 2018. Year to date, we are 24 homes ahead, this year over last year.
The average sales price increased by about seven thousand dollars from $192745 a year ago to $199723 this month.
The area of Las Cruces which saw the most homes sold is Las Colinas with 21 homes followed by Sonoma East with 17 homes.
The most expensive home this month sold for $570,000 in Las Alturas.
